Hanover & District Hospital Welcomes New Vice President of Patient Care Services and Chief Nursing Executive

Hanover and District Hospital (HDH) is delighted to announce the appointment of Saskia MacMillan as the new Vice President of Patient Care Services and Chief Nursing Executive (CNE), effective November 25, 2024. Saskia brings with her a wealth of experience, a proven track record of leadership, and an unwavering commitment to patient-centered care.

Saskia holds both a Bachelor of Nursing and a Master of Nursing, complemented by extensive front-line nursing experience in Emergency, Acute Care, and Community sectors. Over the course of her career, she has amassed more than 25 years of nursing leadership experience, most recently serving as Director of Medicine & Oncology at Brightshores Health System.

Throughout her career, Saskia has been recognized for her exceptional ability to lead
multidisciplinary teams, drive improvements in patient outcomes, and create
collaborative, supportive environments for staff. Her expertise and vision align seamlessly with HDH's mission to provide exemplary care to our community.
